The main individual involved in the conservative bashing was removed from the forum for a month pending a decision by the board. I hope you change your mind. Considering that individual only existed here to do that, literally, I hope the board comes to the right decision. Or I have a feeling bc22wm won't be the only defection.

I tread very lightly in them myself. I like to think I am an informed individual, but I will be the first to admit when I am wrong. Unfortunately most political conversation is based in emotion and what few facts most of us can find. Some here are very good at researching fact, and some don't want to believe them. I have strong political beliefs, and I am sure I have alluded to those here from time to time, but I refuse to let them drive away friends and family. That is their choice. I greatly respect every individual's beliefs, thoughts and opinions and I believe that grown ups (most anyway) can agree to disagree.

I can deal with all the banter but when he said he knows guys that are going to start shooting conservatives. Well that was a bit much. I would guess thats what got the hammer dropped. Death threats should always be taken seriously. And to the OP. I had 2 post removed from that thread. Its all good. Mods are just tryin to keep the peace.

Frankly if there were no liberals here this place would be a drag. The problem is NOT that there are people here with different opinions. The problem is when someone, regardless of what their ideological bent is, fails to be respectful and is primarily just a troll. As far as I am aware pretty much everyone here is decent people who focus on commonalities. .

I feel sorry for someone who desires to only listen to other people who think and believe exactly as they do.

And I had posts removed from that thread as well. And I knew they would be ultimately. Rules is rules.
