The Tisas 1911 Raider B45RDG pays homage to the USMC Special Operations Command (MARSOC) Close Quarters Battle Pistol. While Colt lists a commercial version of the stainless steel M45A1 in its catalog, the Tisas 1911 Raider B45RDG, as imported from Turkey by SDS Imports of Knoxville, Tennessee, at a more economical price.

Yes.

I'd buy a Tisas 1911 vs. a Tisas BHP look-a-like.
Check. We're there not bona-fide operational issues with the BHP, leading to discontinuation? Either way, I concur.
being a former owner of at least 2 Tisas 1911's, i can say that anyone buying this one should have many great range trips.

Girsan also makes very good 1911's AND Hi Powers, that'll but the SA 35 to shame.

I just saw today that Tisas will have a double stack version of the 9mm Duty that will retail for $799 early 2024. Forged barrel, frame and slide with polymer grip module. It will direct mount an optic, comes with suppressor height sights (the rear sight is a Glock cut), and is compatible with STI mags. At that price I will have to try it out. I had my standard Duty BR9 at the range yesterday and let’s just say there’s no chance of shooting low and left with it. Great gun.

This will actually be the second double stack they introduce, along with the double stack Nighstalker.

Negative. FN decided to discontinue the BHP due to manufacturing costs & that the manufacturing tooling was worn out, so they pulled the plug.

Cheaper manufacturing costs in a certain country has brought about the revival, and new models.
