To Fiber optic, or Not.

That is the question. And the answer is, most definitely, yes.

But, it is also true that they work. And work well.

I had one from Dawson I put on a Glock 34 I liked. I also have one on my Colt Competition 1911 that is going on 7 years old no issues. So the regurgitated “fragility “ of them is exaggerated

I changed out the Glock to a Night sight just because no reason. FO’s are good but to me no better tha. Anything else u Les’s you shoot exclusively indoors then they are a little better than most other things.

it's not all it's cracked up to be, when you only have an indoor range.

unless i stand outside the shooting port, a HUGE NO-NO at my club, then the normal stance inside the port, i am past the light above, rendering the optic useless.

in fact, so useless, twice in the past, guns i have, the optic fell out, and i didn't even notice it until i got home. but i still blasted the targets into oblivion, as if i had an ordinary sight.

I will ad something I omitted and not something most would be concerned with. But FOs on indoor ranges we have the red and blues for low light stuff to simulate a light bar that will definitely mess with your eyes just so you know.
