With the name Minimalist you would think that Savage would have made it in a takedown model.

With the exception of the Savage Minimalist, these guns seem to be for much more expensive tastes than mine. The Python is one of my Bucket list guns, but it will have to stay that way as long as it retails above $1000. I’m not saying the guns aren’t worth the price, but they are out of range for most of the shooters I know. I might be able to see these prices as more reasonable if ammo keeps going up. At this rate, I may be able to purchase a Python in October for the same price as 1000 rounds of 9 mm.

I’ve been keeping up with the DWX and it is turning into the Ford Bronco, it will keep getting pushed back and pushed back. I like the Remington 7.
