My only comment is that for some it looks like a specific model, and some series of pistols, like Ruger Americans.
And I wonder if it is as stated all hauns, or just pistols. I find it hard to believe not a single revolver would make the list.
I'm not surprised at all about the lack of revolvers. The revolver is a tool of the Boomer generation and those that aren't closed minded. Meanwhile the young flock to the plastic whiz bang and have no understanding of the past or that sometimes a single well placed shot is better that spewing dozens overhead. My carry consists of two trusted arms. The main being a Shield Plus Performance Center and a S&W 640 Pro when in more formal environments.
What does surprise me is the Ruger, but wonder if price and ergonomics play into that equation. The Glock is not ergonomic but have to believe that reputation alone is driving that. Number 10 is probably because of those wanting a first 1911 but not wanting to break the bank account.

Gotta have serious doubts there was not a better selling revolver than the Ruger mark 1V.

I’ve been a proponent of RIA 1911’s for decades.

Glad to see that they are getting some recognition.

As for revolvers…

I’m willing to bet the best selling example is the S&W 442/642…with the most sold gently used model being the same (the Ruger LCR is probably a close second, with Taurus models in third but fighting for 2…).

Unfortunately, not many new shooters who choose one are willing to put the time in to master it.

I think part of the problem with revolvers is simply cost.
There's many, many more semi autos than revolvers at a "decent" price, say $500 to $600
There are very, very few revolvers for under $300 while you can find many semi autos for around that, and once you get to like $600 it's even crazier.
I know Rock Island makes a few revolvers for around $250 and Charter may have some around there, maybe a little more
I have 10 guns currently, mostly handguns, and the only revolver I own is a Heritage Rough Rider 22 - technically we have 2 in my house as my daughter has one, too. But just because they are so cheap.
I WANT a good revolver, but I just don't have the budget for a decent one

I've owned a number of Charter arms over the years and the only problem I ever had was someone always wanted it more than I did and was willing to put their $ where their wants were. Don't let all the "me too I had a friend who had an uncle that....." lead you astray.
Still think I need a Boomer.
