Tritium Rear Sight for a Hellcat OSP

Has anyone mounted a tritium type rear sight on a OSP Hellcat? I am thinking about cutting a dovetail in the OSP filler piece to mount the sight in.

I took the quick/cheap way out and just painted the white semi-circle with glow-on paint. It actually turned out pretty well.

I tried to get a picture in complete darkness so it'd show up better. This was the best one I could manage

It's not exactly perfect but for $14 I won't complain. Here's the paint I used:

The dovetail is different on the OSP version, nothing is available at this time

I want to cut a dovetail into the OSP filler piece that would match the standard hellcat rear sight dovetail.

I understand the reasoning but pushing the sights even closer together on a tiny gun is going to decrease the sight radius. Even an inch will be a proportionally huge change.
