Trump Banned From The Ballot In Colorado in 2024

Interesting turn of events. Colorado Supreme Court says no way.

I’m not really surprised. The man has a real problem with diarrhea of the mouth of course that’s not the reason why they banned him from the ballot.

Anything the dems can do to win.
Not saying Trump is the answer, everyone can form their own opinion, but banning someone from a ballot when there is no guilty verdict by the courts is BS.
Whether the candidate is Dem, Repub, Indy or other, banning somone from the ballot goes against the founding of this country.
Colorado might as well say they are Russia, N korea or Venezuela

It’ll get overturned by the Supremes; he hasn’t been convicted (yet) of trying to overturn the vote, and the COSC doesn’t have the authority to convict him.
They’re trying to ban him under the insurrection clause of the constitution. He hasn’t even been charged with insurrection in any court, federal or state, never mind convicted. No way will this stand under SCOTUS.

I believe that before next November that Trump will be convicted of something that will legally disqualify him.
I don’t believe there is anything that can legally disqualify him. The only constitutional requirements to be President are that you are at least 35 years old and be a natural born citizen of the United States.

This insurrectionist clause in the 14th amendment was written to prevent participants in the civil war - an actual armed insurrection - from running for office. It doesn’t remotely apply to Trump, whom as I’ve stated, hasn’t even been charged anywhere with insurrection. Not even Jack Smith who is running the January 6th case against Trump, has charged him with insurrection.

The CO Supreme Court is guilty of election interference as per US Codes 595 and 597, as well as the 15th and 19th Amendments to the US Constitution.

The CO Supreme Court is being arbitrary and capricious in their decision, and has violated Corpus Delecti which refers to the principle that no one should be convicted of a crime without sufficient evidence that the crime actually occurred.

Therefore, the CO Supreme Court is guilty of electoral fraud.
