since i do not hunt, or have any wild animals on my property, frankly i'd have thought it was a "free for all", when they are on your property.

yes, i know about hunting seasons, i just did not know you cannot do anything to them any time, when they are on your property.

Just because wildlife are on your property that doesn’t give you the right to break conservation laws/ poach.
 
I notice a lot of Canada Geese in my town. I found out that trapping and cooking them are not allowed within the city. If it were allowed, I wonder if that would help the food shortage for all the homeless and people who live below the poverty level?
