Anyone else been watching The Walking Dead Dead City? I like the character Negan. I appreciate sarcasm and he usually has something clever to say before he kills someone. Last week it was a knock knock joke. Lol.
 
Was a big fan of TWD & FTWD since their first season but the last of the former & couple of the latter just didn't have the writing compared to the earlier seasons, plus when Rick & Michonne left TWD things slowly ebbed. The same with FTWD characters.

The actress that plays Maggy came back after a salary dispute after other stuff she did tanked. Negan added some character to the last few TWD season but they just just do the same thing with the character.

IMO, the producers behind the whole WD Universe are milking things as long as possible.
 
I've watched all the Walking Dead shows from the beginning. The original was great but started to wane toward the end.
Fear was pretty good, but never really lived up to its potential.
Dead City shows promise in that I believe we're gonna get the old super bad azz Negan back. I hope so. ;)
 
Walking Dead definitely jumped the shark. The thing that drove me mad was the way they drug everything out forever. The Mayor, Negan, all these situations played out ridiculously too long. And when I think it was Rick had Negan and didn't kill him ( after Glen was killed) I quit watching it.
 
I didn't realize it was on yet. I'm willing to give it a try. Will try to catch up on streaming.

In somewhat similar vein, anyone catch the series finale of The Blacklist last Thursday?
 
I was an avid fan of the original and through a couple seasons of Fear, then lost interest. Like so many popular series it ran out of steam and I lost interest.

And then why didn't anyone teach Rick how to shoot and reload a revolver?

We watched the first couple episodes, didn’t like it at all, like it was said already milking this series to much, most are over it already.

Several seasons were bad under Scott Gimple (sp?) running things, but the last couple seasons were great.
Last week's episode of Dead City was the best so far. The old Negan resurfaced.

I'm not disputing that Andrew Lincoln is British. A lot of the actors on that show are, including the lovely Maggie. What struck me as sick and wrong was the idea of arming him with a Webley. Just NO. The Python was perfect, though I always wished they'd come up with a 6" holster for it instead of the 4"er with the barrel hanging out. :mad:
 
Okay, I'm all caught up on TWD Dead City. It's actually much better than I thought it was gonna be. But then again, I'm a big fan of both Maggie and Negan, so there's that. Some very interesting plot points, too. All in all, I'd say it's better than most of the last two seasons of TWD.

And then I watched the first two episodes of the new Justified. This is a GREAT show--Raylan's back and at least as good as he ever was. Again, I was afraid they were gonna dumb this down and stupid it up, and was pleasantly surprised that they didn't. I rate it Very Most Way Hella Snakeworthy--my highest rating! ;)
