With a two-stage trigger, how can one "decock," the trigger? I just wondered.
That Marlin Kicks like a mule. I have several 45-70 to 45-110 Taylor Rifles (Sharpe's and others). The Marlin Guide gun in the only one that hurts when it firesIt is very nice looking. I have mostly been a hand-gun guy. But now I have started collecting new rifles to shoot (besides my hunting rifle). I just wondered about this strange question. It is probably very obvious. I got a new Henry last month (wow what piece of History), and I have an AR and AK. But this weapon is new to me. If I change my mind and don't want to shoot as I hit the trigger "wall," I wonder how I can go back to safe mode.
You did get a monster with that 45 110!That Marlin Kicks like a mule. I have several 45-70 to 45-110 Taylor Rifles (Sharpe's and others). The Marlin Guide gun in the only one that hurts when it fires
Safety for sure!So It is half cocked and there is nothing I can do about it. Is this what you are saying? What about if I put the safety on? Or pull the mag and cycle out the round?
