But….. Texas would not have as many new citizens from abroad or transplants from California. Our economies would suffer from lack of direct immigrants..😬

Yes it's as plain as the nose on your face, Pakistan played both sides of the fence. The amount of money we flowed to them during the war was astronomical. Once we found out they were hiding Osama bin laden for a decade we should have frozen bank accounts.

They are also quick to give guns to foreign countries, but lag behind in supporting it's own citizens right to buy their own. Almost 400,000 full auto combat rifles ( likely M4s) and another couple hundred handguns now belong to the Taliban courtesy of the US government. Along with a bunch of heavy machine guns and god knows how much ammo. Humvees, helicopters, airplanes. Here ya go terrorists. Enjoy yourselves. :rolleyes:

1/3 of the fixed wing aircraft escaped north out of the country, and also alot of the helicopters.

One problem for the Taliban/Afghans is a great lack of ability to maintain the more complex US aircraft. Contractors maintained the majority but when they left in June the available operational aircraft dropped significantly except for the relatively simple Russian Mi-17 choppers.
