Holy smokes! What a debacle.
Bet China, N korea, Iran and Russia got some great equipment to reverse engineer 🤬🤬

40,000+ vehicles
42,000+ pieces of specialized equipment like radios and night vision.

Absolutely asinine !

The number may be as high as $80 billion worth of military equipment left in Afghanistan other sources have claimed. The real number is somewhere in the middle most likely. It's the encryption devices and night vision equipment that will be most damaging. Lots of pics of Taliban carrying M4's lately instead of AK's...

What I would like to say would get deleted. And the current administration wants to give another 33 billion in military equipment and money to Ukraine. How about more money to fix problems here at home.
I’ll stop now.
Yes its too bad about Ukraine but you are right! We need to spend money here. What about all the veterans that war screwed up? Its amazing all the money we waste but our veterans need to beg for help.

I seriously think this administration (because the man is less sentient than my plastic aquarium plants) is trying to destroy, or at least fundamentally change, this country.

For the record I'm not on the Trump Train (I did vote for him twice though) but this administration is objectively bad for the American way of life

Guys and gals this is a friendly reminder from your local neighborhood moderator to please keep this conversation from going into full on non 2A politics.
What has always been absent from this particular rule has been clarity. How is it possible to discuss world events and world leaders without breaking this rule unless we can only discuss them as they pertain to the 2A ? It seems to me that even discussing the Ukraine invasion, as we have done for several weeks now, is largely against this rule. There seems to be some level of tolerance, the problem is we have no clear parameters for where that tolerance is and isn't allowed.

I kinda agree with what you are saying but the terms and rules are pretty clear at the bottom of the web page.

Talking about current world events is not an issue and has been done on this forum many times already without overtly going into political banter.

When posters start making up alternative names for politicians and political parties, that does not contribute anything positive to the thread.
