UPS and train incident

i have a related package coming from CA
it shipped tuesday but just last night made it fort worth
the reason is a train incident listed on UPS website
my stuff is not bigger than a bag of dog food...
struck me odd ..i figured since it was to be here today it would have flown?

when i hauled for DHL, people were paying for "Air Freight", that actually went via truck over night.

and believe me, most of it was not Hazmat. going by truck actually gets to the d/c centers faster than flying.

kinda depends on todays regulations what can go by air, sea or land, especially if anything is labeled Hazmat.
