Great tour and very cool historical ship. Far cry from the size and scope of touring the USS Alabama in Mobile.
the only battleship i have ever been on was the USS Massachusetts, being not too far from my home.
I've been on the Missouri a few times, the Albacore and the Midway as a tourist. Missouri is awe-inspiring, subs are too scary to me, feels like a lobster trap!the only battleship i have ever been on was the USS Massachusetts, being not too far from my home.
when i was younger and in the Caveboy Scouts (long before the Boy Scouts was enacted), i went to nearby Mass, to visit the USS Massachusetts. to me, that was an awesome trip, being on the very same ship as our brave service people.I've been on the Missouri a few times, the Albacore and the Midway as a tourist.
