Sheeoot…I woulda asked—nay, demanded— for “MORE!!!”.I took elk fajitas to a potluck at work and everyone scarfed them up. I didn't tell anyone about the meat until a few hours later.
I love buffalo.When I came out West when I was kid & had my first elk meat it reminded me of the great beef we raised on the farm in W. PA.
Really can't stand most supermarket beef, but in my area we have several ranch-straight-to-local market stores here & 99.9999% of MT beef (Angus) is grass-fed vs. feedlot.
Plus, we have some buffalo ranches so bison meat is readily available.
