Since this thread is already going, I want to express how important it will be to vote in next year's primary elections. Truth is that come the day of the general election about 90% of people are simply gonna vote R or D regardless of who the candidate is. If you really want to make changes, the primaries are where you do it. This is where the candidates are chosen.

well, the Democrat won the seat in Congress...but it is short lived...as it's for the remainder of the former congressman's term, which ends next year...so this new guy has to start his campaign all over again, and he really has nothing to run on, regarding anything he has done IN congress....he was running on the fact, that he WAS in the Biden administration, his parents are immigrants, and he is the first black congressman from my state.

His military decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, and Combat Action Ribbon. He is a parachutist and combatant diver.
After retiring as a Colonel in 2019.
but he is a republican, and here, they just don't stand a chance of ever winning, thanks too in part, no one wants anyone in office that may support a return of Trump...
no one wants "Trumpism" ever again, so come the 2024 election, it's s ure bet no republican runner will ever get many RI votes...
and yet...people, or shall i say the azzhats......cry about what's going on now..?????
i could not vote this election, it was for another district, not mine...although since the Dems approve of voter fraud.......maybe i coulda moseyed on over and voted...maybe several times..???

During the previous administration (Trumpism) & before the covid scam. We were saving money every month gasoline was down to $1.13 per gal. We were bringing our soldiers home, instead of being a policeman to the world. No wars, peaceful talks with North Korea and Russia. Opened up drilling in this Country, energy independent first time in 40 yrs, & actually exporting oil. We have more oil in this Country than the middle east. Instead of buying oil from people who hate us and wants us all dead. So I'd gladly go back to what we had instead of the circus we have now.

and i fully agree.....he got my vote each election.
however, i and other republicans in my state, even in all of New England, know it's a lost cause.
what always bothered me was, the oil up in Alaska is being sold (or continues to be sold) to China..????

It almost always comes down to being a condition that would kill the mother.l, so a choice has to be made.
I can’t imagine being in that position; and trying to claim the moral high ground is…so severely (M)ucked up that it’s not worth going in to.

actually ohio is moms or docs choice with very little regard to mother or baby longevity.
i am sure there are or have been real situations that dictate an abortion to save mom...but using abortion as birth control is not BIRTH control.
its no better than the doctors doing abortions and tossing a LIVING baby in the trash can as it dies suffering. at least make sure its dead?? not crying or gagging.
