A Hunter's Encounter in Bear Country​

A couple of weeks ago, 80-year-old archery elk hunter Ernest Covey from New Hampshire hiked up the mountains with his bow in hand for his 25th season of elk hunting in Montana with his son. Knowing he was hiking in bear country, Ernest carried bear spray and remained alert. Using these tools likely prevented a serious bear conflict.
