West German Sig P226, new to me anyway.....

Went to a local pawn and gun shop with my sister a little earlier today and after she traded up from a Sig she brought with her, I started looking for anything interesting.........
And I found it, QUICK......
It's a single "U" prefixed serial number, which makes it West German manufactured, not New Hampshire manufactured.

Going to call Sig shortly and see when it was manufactured.
Haven't even had it an hour yet.....

Should have a 2-letter date code on it, iirc. A-K; A=0, K=9, skip “i”.

Should be around the other proofmarks.

The metal framed P320 race gun, I'm not exactly sure of the model, but it's a sweet gun in the hand.

That's the roll pin that secures the breach face to the slide.

That's a good start. I'd have more myself if I didn't have to eat and pay bills.
And honestly their prices have gone absolutely insane. I think they're trying to keep up with or eclipse H-K

Made range trip number two Saturday and brought two types of Federal 115 grain FMJ to test. The red box, and the white box.
At seven yards the red box printed about four inches high. Switching to the white box, it printed point of aim.
Before too long I'll get a sprinkling of everything I can find to what it really likes.
