Probably not a surprise to most independent thinkers. The snow is pretty, but we've had multiple days of rain and snow occurring in northern AZ with another three days of the same. I no sooner get it shoveled off when it snows again. So far we have about 8" where I haven't shoveled it off. I can't get to our firewood stack. We've cancelled two home improvement contractor appointments. We're not getting the mail because the development can't get the roads cleared by the private contract grader service. Understandable as I'm sure they're swamped with work. Our 5,200'+ elevation mountain community doesn't have enough city or country road clearing equipment and no place to dump it except in parking lots. The parking lots typically have multiple 6-8' piles of snow for weeks. Our scheduled weekly trash pickup has been cancelled for another week. Overflowing trash cans bring javelina. A large herd of deer just came through our property into belly deep snow drifts. I feel sorry for the wildlife that not only live in these conditions, but can't easily find food.
Further north in Flagstaff it's probably far worse but they're used to it. Their mountain snow melt off fills our multiple reservoirs. We typically get only 2-4" of snow for a day or two which melts off quickly. We've had 10" and 22" snowfalls in the recent past that crippled the entire county. When they do manage to clear the developments roads, the grader leaves a foot or more of snow piled up in front of residents driveways. Most people in this development own small subcompacts and cannot get over the piles, at least we have a 4x4.
On the plus side, the snow sure cuts down on traffic so it's very peaceful.
Global warming is a scam.
