Just coming in to say . The 308 Saint victor is a amazing gun ...BUT>>> please anyone before shooting your new gun check and make sure the set screw is in your gas block .... I had a little bit of a problem when I got my new gun , Went to the range to fire it and it would not rack the bolt back . Tried different ammo and grains , the only thing that would work was 180 grain Remington. went to change the set screw with the ones the provided and come to find out my fatory one was missing ... Went to home depot bought a 3/32 set screw for .98 cents runs like a champ ... Just some info before shooting.
As for me I really like the .308 Aguila Ammo you can find it for around $12.95 to $14.95 for 20 rounds ... Like you said match ammo is pricey ...Oh and yes Hornady Black ammo is nice ,,,,hope this helps .....
