What Caused the Roaring Twenties? Not the End of a Pandemic (Probably)

A good interesting longer and sometimes somber read about the activities around the time of the Roaring 1920's. Why posting the article is it in some instances is a reflection of current activities in these times as well. And, as a possible head's up too? For example, both near the end of a great war, a pandemic and other similarities in society like major social unrest, possible major changes to society and of of what someone may expect to find nowadays towards a hopeful conclusion of national and world wide dilemmas?

The similarities of Prohibition and firearms changes may come to mind as well? Yes, there's the Second Amendment involved with firearms where there isn't with alcohol, but they're both heavily controversial national issues and also where the effects can make huge changes to most anyone in any walk of life, field or occupation. Part of reason why mentioning the two, is the unseen effects and of what violence Prohibition created also helped initially create firearms control as well. Of what saw from that is unintended consequences can create more havoc than what they supposedly end sometimes and then the population bears the brunt of sometime poor decisions until it's remedied?

Other similarities? Was a very busy controversial hectic decade just like this one has been so far? Some may find it odd that the similarities of the years 1920's and 2020's of the dates in themselves may come to mind as well as the events? History has been known to repeat itself from time to time? This article involves many interesting views and aspects of and from different walks of life and of what some considered the roaring 20's while others did not. The pandemic of that era didn't just end, it slowly faded away until almost forgotten about. Sometimes purposely?

A century is a long time one can only guess what the next 100 years may bring? Based on how we as a people in general are treating this planet let’s hope there is a society/world to fight the good fight. It’s not looking good based on climate change and the political upheaval and certain countries desire to dominate. I fear for the younger generation.

History is bound to repeat itself.
The good, the bad and the ugly.

Like Bell bottoms and basketball hair cuts. Coming back .. 😳😳
Lots of cowgirls at the stock shows are all wearing bell bottoms .
Its cool I guess, until they see their parents wore it as well back in the day

It sure is and I hope it gets better and better Keystone, All we can do is is keep pushing forward.
"I fear for the younger generation." - am sure as most to all of us here do too.

I hope that doesn't mean we should expect to have another Black Friday in 2029!

One Black Friday's more than enough.
Someone may want to watch out for 3019 too?
1919, 2019, 3019, around every 100 years "Mother Nature" or something seems to thin things out somewhere?
