What does it have under the hood?

Oooh Oooh Oooh, Peglegjoe, you got the real mystery machine! Interior lights are all on, even thought the battery is not connected! Gauge lighting was separate fuse. Also, the printed circuit card on the back of the dash cluster may be dry rotted. Had to replace printed card on my 77 fordGood eye, papadan...but it was two different photo sessions Exterior/interior were in the driveway when I got it home, engine bay was in the garage a couple days later after I replaced the motor mounts (it was 3" higher on the driver side than on the passenger side, with two shredded mounts). Now, I'm chasing electrical gremlins...head- and taillights work, gauges work...but no gauge lighting at night. And no horn. But hey - 50 year old wiring, what could go wrong??
Yep, been working on getting the cluster out to troubleshoot. Combination of back spasms this weekend, and being a factory a/c car (LOTS of crap up in that dash!!), conspired to keep me from getting it onto a bench for testing. Yet. Achilles' heel on these is the dimmer switch...or, after 50 years, I could just have dead bulbs. I know the fuse is good, it shares a fuse with the taillights and I have taillights.
Once I manage to get it out, and onto the test bench, I'll get it figured out. It's part of the fun for me anyway!

No, the problem is the dash light dimmer switch - a rotary dial.
But yeah, I love me a foot dimmer on the high beams!
Just kick it. It'll come unstuck and work again. Well most of the time. Those are the best. My ford has it. When it sticks, though, folks get real mad
