What is a OSP GU

Deros

Alpha
I was searching for a CCW and was interested in the XMD Elite. I notice that in some websites there are two naming convention for what appears to be the same pistol. Once name XMD Elite OSP and the other XMD Elite OSP GU. I know what the OSP means but what is the GU? For example: XDME93845CBHCOSP vs. SPXDME93845CBHCOSPGU22. I just want to make sure I don't buy some California spec pistol that requires to pulls of the trigger to fire one round.

Thanks.

What's the website? I don't see anything with GU22, could be a special package with an extended magazine, or a special cereakoated version, or even some type of store internal tracking ski for things like GU22 (guns.com listing 22) so that way employees know to remove the same listing off guns.com?

You are the man. I went to the Guns.com and looked up the GU22. They have a XDME93845CBHCOSPGU22 (no SP in the beginning) and the XDME93845CBHCOSP. The difference is the GU22 is a "range" package that comes with a range bag and 5x10rd magazine. Unless there is a mechanical difference between the 2022 model and the 2023 model, the GU22 is a better buy because it's cheaper and comes with extra mags.

“GU22 is a "range" package that comes with a range bag and 5x10rd magazine.”

I believe it’s referred to as the gear up package, Springfield has done this a number of times so makes sense to use the GU
