This may be the year to retire my current carry weapon, my trusty XD-S. It's been on my hip for nearly a decade, and has been one hundred percent reliable. That's my horizon. We shall see. A "collector" I am not.

I keep promising myself the same thing. I just did an inventory of the firearms in this house, and I think we have handguns covered (for now ). there are several long guns in the safe, but we are sorely lacking in the AR category (IMHO), so I am looking at a few options. I'm going to do my due diligence in gathering info before pulling the trigger (so to speak...pun intended).

I started the same way with ARs Bella D. Then I discovered they come in different calibers . I still don’t have them all (yet)

well, i been selling off my mini collection..

but i "might" have my sights on that new Colt blued Python, in 6"

then i saw a couple of sweet 1911's at the LGS, the S&W pro series, one in 9mm and of course a 45 acp.

even though i am against any 1911 in any caliber but 45 ACP, i'll give thiers a try.

but winter is taking it's toll on "this old house"...so my plans are to take care of business, before i take care of me.

3) 9mm

4) 357 mag

5) 45 ACP

6) 45 Colt LC
