I don’t think this would be a good idea for stores that are open for business.
Maybe not well thought out, but certainly would be a good for overnight break-ins if that fog and a really loud alarm can be maintained until the defunded and now short staffed PD arrives a hour later.

As prosecutions decline and no bond policies, retailers have to resort to gimmicks to deter the looting feral.

Yea, especially in a gun shop, all that crap gets into the firearm, how do you know it’s not corrosive and if it will have any reaction to gun oils…..

I worked in loss prevention when I first moved to the US. Man, it would be funny to see but I’m afraid it would only add to liability issues. I got out of that profession because it was becoming increasingly dangerous, and the cops were as frustrated as we were. The thieves have more rights than retailers. I quit when I had an 8 ball in a sock swung at my head. Building windows is a far safer skill.
