I wonder what's in this box? This one is direct from the Nikon Mothership. I am trying to step up my video game and this should make a great addition to the camera stable. I was going back and forth between Sony & Nikon. I sold my soul to Nikon long ago so in the end Nikon won. Being able to use all my Nikon glass natively with the adaptor was a big bonus. Plus with the filmmakers kit you get all kinds of cool extra stuff. Part of the game is you have to look like you know what you are doing 😉. Any other photo/video buffs out there? Show off your kits. Now I need me a D6 to round things out.

Nice equipment, my brother in law does photography also, my wife tried it, but I guess it wasn’t her thing.

I've been shooting since darkroom days. Still love me the smell of RapidFix and stop-bath! Shooting film was a great way to learn to frame shots that count - you get 24 or 36 chances, then you have to reload. Do it right the first time! HS and college papers photo editor, as well as HS and college yearbook photo editor. Still love me some black and white...and, somehow, flipping a switch on a DSLR to "black and white" just doesn't give the same results as a true, start-to-finish, black-and-white photo, done up in a darkroom. Flip on the overhead light for 2 seconds while the photo is in the developer, and you get some very cool effects.

Current rig (strictly still, not ventured into video yet) is a D7200 with my go-to lens being my f3.5-6.3 18-300 Nikon Nikkor AF-S. Do-it-all zoom with excellent light gathering at any range. The 7200 is a factory reman - a buddy of mine in NY (also an avid shutterbug) tipped me off to the factory rebuilds. Most folks cringe at "rebuilt", but Nikon factory remans are super-priced, and are all HAND-BUILT units. Better quality, actually, than the new assembly-line pieces.

I do some recreational shooting these days, but mainly use it to cover the concerts I do live sound for. Love the light gathering of this setup, as well as the color reproduction. Fast to focus, uber-fast continuous mode, and slots for 2 SD cards so I can cover an entire festival day without having to reload or clear any cards. It also has a nice rear-mounted screen that can sub for the viewfinder, if you don't want to hold it to your eye while shooting. Good resolution on the screen, very accurate.

Nice setup xdman.

I’ve been involved with photography all my life, I used to watch my grandfather take movies with a
Keystone 8mm model 25 Capri vintage 1950.

This camera still works however film is almost impossible to find.
Entering high school I picked up a Minolta SRT-201 that camera went everywhere with me.

With friends and family telling me if they saw me with the camera they made sure they were on their best behavior.
I took a break for a few years then started looking for a new “digital format”
Camera to get away from the cost of film processing. Wanting to stay with the Minolta Brand and believing in good big or go home I picked up a
Konica Minolta Mazzum 7D and then started picking up multiple lenses for different situations.

During the late 90’s I tried my hand at Photographing weddings and birthday parties for friends and family.

Sadly the advent of the digital age and then the iPhone (camera phone) brought Konica Minolta to its knees. Whenever I’m camping my 7D is always set up to catch wildlife at its best.
