From my limited research of the new weapons, they're noticeably heavier than both the M4 and M249.
I was never infantry, but the old say, "Ounces equal pounds, pounds equal pain " has never been more true.....

So that means the XM-7 should weigh about 10.5 pounds. Well 10.5 pounds for the 1st hour and will seem to get heavier each hour thereafter.

I think todays troopers can handle it, considering the M1 Garand weighs about the same that our ancestors handled.

I thought is was supposed to be just under 10lb with the suppressor... Then half a dozen of mags on top of it and we're at 20lb
