What's up with Steve Dettlebach ?

Boy Norah is about a hack and you can see her trying to lead the ATF director to endorse her anti gun agenda, but shockingly Mr. Dettlebach doesn't stray from the facts. I don't know if I believe this guy won't continue the ATF habit of making up their own rules and selective enforcement or not, but he responded to these very leading questions exactly like he should have. We can only hope he directs the ATF in the manner which he claims here is their role.

I saw him in an interview with CBS news anchor Norah O’Donnell after his appointment and no matter how she tried to get him to commit to taking away our rights he held firm in saying he was going to follow the law as it is written in what the ATF is allowed to do.
I was encouraged.

We shall see.

Some people may have a different opinion on an issue but that doesn't necessarily mean they will go against the law or personal morals to make their opinions a reality. Hopefully Dettlebach is actually a legit law abiding American only focused on current law and not a typical Washington appointed bureaucrat puppet in office to further a certain political parties agenda.

Time will tell if he's on the level or on the take.

This is that interview. Or actually it is excerpts of that interview interspersed with commentary from the Langley Outdoors guy.

We can only hope. Years ago when Missouri passed it's first RTC law we had a democratic governor called Jay Nixon. He grew up in a small town 5 miles away from where I live and basically fit the bill of what they call "Blue Dog" democrats. Fairly conservative and fairly moderate. He was however opposed to the RTC law. Nevertheless when it became law the city of St. Louis still refused to issue permits. Without any urging, Nixon stepped in and forced them to begin issuing permits. Hopefully this Dettlebach guy is cut from the same cloth. As you say, only time will tell.

Nice to see an elected politician that worked for the people.

Good video perspective.

As for Dettle, he obviously didn’t seek the advice of his appearance from DOJ, USAG Chip-on-theShoulder. He probably was already scolded by now, going forward he will have to get permission to do future interviews and of course, prescreened questions and scripted replies.

The Dettle is not unlike every other Admin appointee that came out with some logical points of view that are against The Narrative only to do a 180 flip flop in subsequent interviews on select media outlets. He will not be coming out anytime soon to set the record straight and offer some clarifications, but guarantee that this interview will starkly contrast the latter if they ever come. He’s going ghost.

Surly Dettle has his views and opinions, some that may agree with ours, yours and mine. If he’s being honest, expect that to change.
We see how the appointed masters of Covid flip-flopped time and time again, even TheBigGuys press secretary can’t seem to get the lies in order.

As for fleeting Norah, she also took a hit salary wise, her toughest interview to date was saving her job. So it’s either bring on some even keeled rhetoric and save credibility for self and network or go back to full ‘View‘ style partisanship tv somewhere else.
