Good read.
I like the sling around the elbow/arm method. I dont like to sit when hogs are involved as not to be run over .

I never knew people shot rifles off benches until I was probably in my 30s. We never did. Not even sighting in your deer rifles.
Of course these days my scoped rifles get sighted in off a bench rest, but that’s the only time they’ve ever seen a bench.
