Where can I find a Hellcat OSP with manual safety and RDS preconfigured?

They litter gunbroker.com.
That's where I got the RDP model. It was no problem and a smooth transaction. It wasn't from this seller, but there are lots of decent ones. Here one for instance:
OSP Hellcat with safety
Any gunshop can order one for you, it's a "Springfield Hellcat OSP MS HC9319BOSPMS"
Regards!

I don't know about the RDS preconfigured, except in an RDP model, but I bought a Hellcat OSP with manual safety at Academy Sports. The OSP has the optic cut, but not aware of them actually preconfiguring the RDS.

Keep in mind that the RDP model has the longer threaded barrel with compensator.

My bad, I thought you were looking for an OSP with a safety. Even the RDP requires the buyer to mount and zero the dot, though. At least mine did.
Last month my brother-in-law's Hellcat RDP w/Hex Wasp and MS came with the RDS mounted and pretty close on sighting in. All we had to do was adjust the sight up 2 clicks and right 3 clicks and it's hitting dead on.

Bear, mine had the red dot in a plastic bag in the box with the pistol. I was reading youtube comments and lots of others came the same way. Another video had a new owner and his came with it mounted.
In either case it is simple to mount and adjust. I would recommend carefully torquing it to 15 inch pounds.
One of my screws fell out and I had to get replacements. It seemed pretty tight but wasn't tight enough.
The sight gets a wild ride on that slide!

Is a bit odd some optics come premounted while some aren't? May be hard saying why, when they all come from same mfg? Many things can take place between point A and point B too? Different mfg. employees to different LGS may have mounted, sighted in or not with optics? Someone curious in S&H somewhere may also be involved too?

The good part of unmounted optics? Even with long life battery and good battery life, learning and experiencing how optic is installed, uninstalled and knowing procedure is helpful and worthwhile for future reference as long as all specs and info are included with optic.

Have noticed many items are shipping w/o directions or specs for awhile now. One reason may be items are purchased in bulk or mass by a distributor w/o adequate reference materials included or possibly not included as an oversight?

Thankfully, there are usually install videos about optics and other things available for many items online or elsewhere? Still, the written specs should be and are normally included with original purchase because it cuts down on possible time consuming hassles. In this day, age and current scenario, have learned to expect the unexpected even with simple things. Thought likely holds water here too?

Though the Hex Wasp came mounted and pretty close to being sighted in there was absolutely no paper work of any kind regarding the Wasp, mounting it, adjusting it, warranty... zip

I had watched the videos on the Wasp using the little Allen wrench with the dial on it, all worked very well.

Mine came loose in the box but had all sorts of paper in there. The Hex pamphlet, gun manual, warranty info and a coupon for a red laser for only $66. It is odd that they are packed differently.

How long ago did you receive you RDP?

Is sort of weird or odd on that experience in some ways on the optic?

Purchased HEX Wasp separately here and all info was included, including the dial wrench set up and different sets of screws. Maybe difference in bulk packaging verses average retail packaging is my guess? Regardless, all info should be there in either case or packaging because reasoning and purpose is the same. Hopefully it is in the future? Most people seem to like to do things by factory specs. especially when something's new and unfamiliar.

Same here on reading and watching videos beforehand on many optics. Had looked for an optic wanted for some time before purchasing. Knew what wanted, but HEX Wasp wasn't available at the time, so passed on the others until it was.

From that? - You will likely notice from time to time, SA does listen to it's customers needs and wants very well the longer you're here by things seen and done by them. I have. I partially consider the ArmoryLife.com site as sort of a customer research site for them for customer service and ideas. If it is or not, who knows? It's still a good group of good knowledgeable people from most any walk of life and plenty to keep someone entertained and involved here. It's been a fun, good and nicely balanced site so far. An "optical" illusion? We aren't telling? :)

A couple months ago. I got it off a gunbroker seller. Maybe some sellers are pilfering the coupons to get the lasers for cheap, buying them, and reselling them at full retail. Others may be installing the RDS because their ad said it was that way.

As far as I know my brother-in-law picked up his Hellcat RDP a few hours after it was delivered straight from SA. There was a sealed bag in the box with the osp slide cover, 2 allen wrenches, the dial and screws for the cover. Not sure what else if I forgot, I just remember flipping thru the papers and did not see anything related to the Wasp.

When I set up the Wasp on my pistol I checked the front sight post and found it offset to the left a mm or so, pecked it over to center, then against a bright white background, formed my idea of the best sight alignment then checked the red dot position. I adjusted it until it was centered on the center of the front post, almost lying right on the top of it.
I verified it by moving the sight off center to the right then the left by moving the gun until the daylight on each side was zero, noting where that put the red dot. When the dot moved equally to the right as the left in this test, I considered it done for the first trip to the range.
At the range, at 13 yards it was dead on. If the sights are right, the dot will be right. I got a couple hits on clay birds at 25 yards, so for a defensive belly gun I'm calling it done. They're great little shooters. Very consistent.
It shoots straighter than I do, like all decent pistols.

I guess they have decided to mount them for the buyers. I would think they would include the Hex manual though.
This is a little strange.

Odd? It is, but it isn't? Figuring it out?

SA acts, sounds like a family run or family style type of business to me, especially after reading up on their history. - It's worth the read by the way. In that sense, and under the current sometimes disruptive virus scenario, all of a good family pitches in to help the rest of family out when needed, and family sometimes does things they're unfamiliar with that other parts of the family normally does to keep the ball rolling?

Sometimes, things are a bit different from time to time from there, but the difference? They also follow up on known things that may be a bit off kilter from what have experienced and heard about. Is a good minded, good hearted company from what have experienced and seen so far. Much better than many other company's have dealt with.

I also found I shot my brother-in-law's Hellcat RDP more accurately than I shoot my own, open sight pistols. It was my 1st time using an rds on a pistol too.

Sorry I had to leave it with him after helping teach him and my sister all about it. 🙄

Packaging and promotional items can change from time to time too. Coupon pilfering? It has happened in the past to some companies products. - Complete content listing on packaging may help eliminate that issue?

I have heard this too. I met a person working with the web or digital side of the company. Said they were overwhelmed a couple of times, had everyone over helping pack guns coming off manufacture and shipping everything out.

Yah, somethings are toughies? :)
Gifts are usually better if person giving them also likes the gift?
- More of a gift from the heart and mind then?
