Where is Bob M ?

Yeah, I thought about him and AdamSR (id no longer listed), who went silence on 12/22/20. If you recall, Adam caught Covid on his Colorado hunt and said he had mild symptoms, then a bit later he went silent. I’m hoping for the best for both of them, but for two members that seemed to post daily on here to disappear suddenly, it’s worrisome. Let’s hope they got jobs or something that are keeping them too busy to be on here. 😕

I PM’d Bob on Mar 20, just to check on him pursuant to the thread above. I expect others may have also…

Have not heard a word back.
I think it likely we won’t at this point, and the most likely reason is he has passed on.

Blessings to him and family.
BobM hasn't been on since 12.24.21 hopefully something more important in life came up and he's doing fine.

It's definitely kinda eerie to notice someone that has been a constant contributor just up and disappear suddenly.

There has been other members that have taken a long break and returned months later so maybe @BobM will show up again at some point.

Agree.
I hope its just a hiatus.

It's kinda' strange this has come up the way it has ....... but coincidentally for many years I was co-owner and moderator of a Yahoo Group forum regarding RV's and 'A' class motor homes. My co-owner was about my age, maybe a year or two older and lived all the way north in Wisconsin, Green Bay to be specific. We couldn't possibly have lived much farther apart than we did but we were always close in our advice and activity on the group.

Well after Yahoo shut down all the group sites, he and I continued to occasionally email back and forth for some time, then gradually slowed down. But then all of a sudden, one of us must have realized we could go at any time so we both without any discussion about it began emailing each other pretty regularly. Not because we still have a lot to say after all those years, but because we both know that at some point one of us won't get a reply.

I don't know, I guess we're both accepting the fact that when that day comes, the one of us that doesn't get the reply will know our longtime relationship as co-owners and friends will have come to the end of the road. It's a very sad thought, but it will come!!!

i got a buddy in Nevada. we "met" on a truckers message board. he liked the way i'd go off, on the dumb :poop:'s that thought they knew trucking, better that 2 old salts. we have only shared pics of each other, never meting in person. we email each other weekly.

he and i have been through a whole lot, that i can never say here. more so than 2 guys that worked together or were neighbors ever could.

i'd hate to lose him.
