Which AK Mags do you use?

I finally joined the AK Operators Union 47-74 (will post pics later on a different thread). Got myself a Zastava ZPAP M70. Which mags do you guys find fit and perform well in yours? Lots of options out there and AK/AK accessories are not a strong point in my firearm knowledge base, per say. Thanks in advance!

Surplus. Chinese, Hungarian, Yugo, mostly. Think there’s some Russki mixed in there, as well as some Egyptian.

Those polymer Pmags seemed like they would get chewed up pretty hard, Figured they were not a good buy.

The Pmags work well, i just ordered a bunch of different ones. haven't tried them yet. Have a few metal ones that work too

Walked into the autoparts store today. Told the parts person I needed a gas cap for a Yugo. He said "that sounds like a fair trade".

Depends on the AK. Not all AR mags play well with every AK. Some fitting maybe required.

The PSA waffle mags work good and the Magpul are fine also and like I stated above some fitting maybe required.

There are two versions of Magpul AK pmags with one having a polymer locking lug and one having a metal locking lug. Both types of Pmags are very durable and won't easily fail.

Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian & Yugo here for surplus, and the Magpuls have been fine for me.

I just bought these so can't say if they work, first is an US palm , it looks and feels good. might be durable. i got 3 of these.

Second is a Bulgarian 40 rounder, it seems well made too.

Third is a pro mag, it does not seem as well made as the others. but it was cheaper. i wouldn't want them for defense mags. maybe just range mags.

Too be honest none feel and look as good as the Pmag to me. i'm sure all them will work. but for serious business i would get the metal ones or the Pmags.
