In the 70's when I started shooting there was not much to pick from.
We are living in good times when it comes to firearm choices. there is a lot of manufactures that are making some really nice and reliable firearms.
In my opinion there is no one firearm that I would call the best it all depends on very small differences that each individual shooter wants or needs or maybe they are brand snobs.

I'm going to agree with the none of those part, but disagree at least with your choice of HK. Then you are no doubt much more experienced with 9mm than I am, but personally none of the guns on your list are in the running for my next 9mm. I'm not necessarily looking for the best 9mm in the world, but definitely looking for one that's in the running. I have some specific criteria though. I'm looking real hard for a P30L, but other HKs in the running are an Expert or an Elite.

The best 9mm doesn't and will never exist. Just some are better than others. Which one is the better will be
determined by whom you speak to.

But—they are also heavy, have low capacity compared to more modern offerings, and since they are no longer made, insanely expensive.

There are a few here that I rotate through depending on the situation. I agree with the best is the one that will do the job for you in your particular circumstance.
