Professional
we need an new vacuum
any recommendations will be looked at

we have had sharks, x5 and one bissel pet hair eraser and a few hoovers and one horribly loud dirt devil (think 747 take off)
i liked the sharks we had 10 years ago, hoses lasted about 5 years and they were easy to vac on tile and carpet

but now the newer shark the hose tears right after the 12 month period and they no longer cover them as warranty items
the bissel is horrible for pet hair on smooth floors, it simply lacks the velocity to suck up fine puppy hair the big dog hair, yup its gone, but this fine bulldog hair is a whole nuther critter

i want one with a hose that lasts and actually easily extends more than 4 feet before the hose drags the vacuum at you
when vacuuming under stuff with the hose, its nice to NOT have the machine attack you and crack you in the head

dysons are to pricey IMO for what you get, i tested a few at target with my own provided dog hair.
i still have 2 original sharks that are a purpleish color i use to vacuum the garage, i have cobbled hoses to replace the failed ones,
and finding new hoses are IMO waaaay over priced for same hose that fails in 12 months of daily use
and us with pets...vacuum 2x a day

the last shark the navigator worked really well, it didnt tangle or eat carpets and had great smooth floor suction and edge suction. but the hoses failed in 3 months and shark replaced them, then boom 12 months they failed again and got duct taped and glues etc until it got regulated to the car vacuum duty

speaking of edge suction....why cant they make one that works really good on carpet edge suction? pet hair loves to get in those areas and refuse to be removed.. i have worn the tip down on the crevice tool doing crevices on all our units.

We use a Dyson Big Ball. Have five dogs that spend more time inside than out. We have several rugs the Dyson does a very good job on the hair.

i read some reviews that it gets STUCK on carpet and not easy to roll?
my sharks powered brush pulls itself across the carpets so its easy to move
and the biggie ...how do the hoses hold up? 12 months fall apart or hold together
No issues with hoses. The Ball has a couple internal short hoses betwwen the dump bin, etc .. easy to get to. External hose for getting into corners, tight soaces, etc No issues
Glides easy on carpet.

Those vacuums all suck. :ROFLMAO:

I have 2 cats, including a long hair who is part Maine ****. We have a pair of iRobots who do a fine job. There's no carpet in my house so YMMV.

Really ? Well, I guess my cat could be a racial slur.🤪
A Dallas suburb called Frisco is home of the Racoons for a mascot.
For decades the water tower said “fighting coons” with a racoon head.
The town symbol is an outline of a **** skin that would be pinned while it was drying .

Fast forward to population explosion and growth.

A young wide receiver on the football team ran a punt back from around 10 yrd line for a touchdown during a friday night Fighting Coons HS game . The crowd has chanted for 80 yrs, Go **** Go !! On big plays.

Lets say the new transplants to the city got offended. Even the young black kids didnt know what a **** meant. Grandparents had a conniption fit and tried to sue the city . Lets say all the towers got painted and now they can only be called the raccoons

Now how did you get to type that word but it censored me when I did it ?

You're in cahoots with them aren't you ? Bastard. :ROFLMAO:

That sounds like permission to me. Buy her two robots and get yourself a pair of Dan Wessons.
