No, that means for every 100 people in the USA, 120 firearms are owned. Thus, we have 1.2 firearms for each person in the country.

Quite honestly I only had/brought a Crossman single shot pellet gun my Dad still had to get a permit for when I was 16 back in the early 70s. So the NJ count only dropped by one .
