Why The Biden Administrations Gun Ban Plan Should Concern Hunters

People should realize (including the FUDDs) that the proposed legistlation is for all guns, not just the black & nasty ones.

And as CA has shown us any firearm can be re-defined in a way to ban/confiscate them.

Someones' deer rifle is suddenly labeled a "sniper rifle", a semi-autoRemington 1100 pheasant/turkey shotgun is suddenly labeled an "assault shotgun", a S&W 686 is labeled a "Super Saturday night Special".

True sir....so true

Thanks Anni.

I watched an interview this morning (it was on Tucker Carlson last night) of a liberal. The liberal (Naomi but forgot her last name) was ringing the bell that our government was infringing on our rights and people need to wake up. It is good to see folks admitting they were wrong even though they won't outright admit they realize they were wrong.

All infringements on the Second Amendment have the potential to affect all gun owners. It is more important than ever before for hunters, competitive shooters, and tactical enthusiasts to unite. Fudds need to read the writing on the wall. Warner Bothers taking away Elmer's gun in all future cartoons is an ironic reminder of the challenges gun owners face with the media and big tech.

My hope lies in the creativity of gun manufacturers. Companies who develop firearms that comply with all federal restrictions while still offering shooters what they want have been doing excellent work lately (ex. Mossberg Shockwave). The teams of engineers, designers, and lawyers that gun manufacturers have assembled seem to constantly be one step ahead of regulators. I have much more faith in these professionals than I do in most of our lawmakers.

Too bad we don't have an organization that includes hunters, competitve shooters and tactical enthusiasts to unite us.

I think fighting regulation is a driving force behind a lot of companies (i.e. Colt, most recently) selling to, or being majority-managed by, foreign companies (CZ, in Colt's case). The US Government has a MUCH more difficult time trying to regulate foreign companies.
