Can anyone tell what other size mags I can use in my new springfield xd-m elite. It came with 22+1 but every time I try to order it won't send that size round to my state. I don't understand as I bought the gun and it came with two. Maybe someone knows how I can get them shipped through someone else???

What state do you live in? Certain states have mag restrictions laws that limit the capacity of magazines. I suggest you get to know your states firearms laws very well to avoid any potential legal issues or possible felonies.

You don’t mention where you are ordering your magazines from so I would call Springfield, with your serial number they can tell you what you need and tell them the state you live in.

Thank you for your reply. I live in maryland and know the law. That's why I asked if anyone knew what else I could use or how I could buy larger ones. While I appreciate your reply, it did not answer any of my questions

I say this with all due respect. You state that you live in Maryland and you know the law in your state but you are still asking for a way around the magazine capacity limit law. Why would you ask on a public forum if you already know the laws in your state? I'm not familiar with Maryland laws myself as I've never lived or traveled there.

Finding legal advice online can be risky and possibly get you in serious trouble. Looking for a way to get around local laws is a recipe for disaster. My advice would be to join and speak to your local Pro 2A organization about the legalities for your state regarding your questions in relation to the most up to date firearms laws and upcoming legislation.

Btw welcome to the forum.

A quick google search reports that you are NOT allowed to have a mag capacity over 10 rounds so I may have not answered your question that is the law you’re up against and as mentioned it’s not a good idea to go on a public forum to ask how you can circumvent that law.
Good luck.

I ask on a public forum because my state allows the larger mag if it's purchased outside of the state. Again that's why I asked the question I did.

I'm not trying to circumvent. If you kept reading the state allows larger mags as long as they purchased out of state

If, as you say it’s legal to purchase outside your state, it sounds like you need to make a trip to one of the surrounding states where you can buy the mags and get them there.

Because nobody’s gonna ship them to you; you’re SOL on that front.
