XDM Elite 10mm 3.8" optics plate question

I have a question that seems to be the opposite of every question I have found answered on the internet. Both in this forum and randomly on the internet.

I purchased the handgun with the dragonfly optic. I had to remove the optic to fit in a level 3 holster I am using at work. Where can I get a "stock" plate to cover the milled section of the slide where I removed the red dot? I would have liked to keep the red dot but I had a very hard time finding a level 3 holster for this handgun amd none I saw were for "with optic".

It didn’t come with one in the box? Mine did, it should have came with it

Mine did too. If I were you I would contact SA. They will make it right.

Thanks for the replies. It did not have one in the box but is there really any way to know if it "disappeared" after it left the manufacturer? lol

Unfortunately I purchased it a long time ago but only recently removed the optic to fit a level 3 duty holster.

If you get really concerned, I just bought one w/o the red sight. Trade ya? Dang, I didn’t think that would work! I would contact a Springfield and ask them. Bet you they will send you what you need.

(CALL) Springfield they should send you a cover plate, I bought both my 3.8 Elites 45ACP and 10mm without an optic because I put on my own choice of a red dot. I’ll look around as I should have the plates if SA says no and I’ll get one to you.
