XDM Elite 3.8 10mm recoil spring

I have a elite 3.8 10mm compact. Love the gun! I was just wondering for the others that have one. Do you think the recoil spring is too light? Like racking the slide is effortless. Compared to my XDM elite 9mm 4.5 or my XD9 4 inch, they are a little more stout. Was just wondering if anyone else thought that. I assume its normal and was made like that since its been flawless in the several hundred rounds I have put through it. Thanks for the help.

I have the same gun and don’t have that many rounds through it but what I’ve shot has run with no issues. I find the recoil spring to be normal so I have no concerns. For you if you have that many rounds through the gun with no issues don’t worry about something that works.

I’d figure. Was just curious if anyone else noticed it. I was expecting for it to be stiff since it is a 10mm, but from how that recoil assembly is made it’s a pretty soft shooting 10mm.
