I just installed a Dragonfly Red dot on my XDM Elite 3.8. It has the recommended #1 optics plate and the sealer plate installed under the red dot as the Dragonfly instructions called for. My issue is I cannot seem to get the red dot sighted in accurately at 25yds. Elevation is high at the range even when adjusted all the way down. I reset and used a laser bore site and it still seems high without ability to gain any further additional adjustment down. Windage is fine.

Any suggestions? What am I missing? I tried removing the plates and that did not seem to make a difference

I suspect it’s faulty if you have it installed correctly. That happens more often than you would think.

How is the refresh rate? I've heard there is a noticable flicker at lower settings.
 
I’d just call them and talk to a rep. They can get it sorted out pretty easily. Got a pic of the setup?

Are you shooting it, or just trying to get it cowitnessed with the sights?

Shooting and using laser bore site. Visually it is not close enough to even consider co-witness. Red dot is too high in vision field. My wife's RDP on the other hand is a perfect co-witness with the red dot.
