XDM Elite Slide Interchangeable?

With the XDM series the slides were interchangeable, does anyone know if xdm slides will work on an xdm elite frame?

With the XDM series the slides were interchangeable, does anyone know if xdm slides will work on an xdm elite frame?

My guess is no since the elite has the ambi slide stop and the XDM does not, there may be other differences as well.
