After some time with this gun I'm wanting to switch to a red dot and wondering if this slide is adaptable to work with one?

If it’s not cut and has a place for the red dot plates, I would say no, also Springfield doesn’t sell gun parts so you can’t just get another slide.

There are a couple companies out there that offer a product that replaces your rear sight for an optics plate which slides into the rear dove tail.

Actually, mine is the adjustable rear sight. I can't seem to find an option to convert it, replace it.
