XDm hard on brass

I put a hundred rounds through my new XDm 10mm the last two days. Each case has a 1/16 inch or so dent in it after firing. Has anyone else come across that issue?

Maybe post a pic of it so the members can see. I'm sure someone will have an idea.

10mm cases bounce off the slide with some force. Try some velcro with the sticky side on the slide behind the ejection port.

10mm’s have some force when there ejected, like Talyn said, they hit the edge of the slide.

From my hot hornady(my load), ppu, remington and armscor in the xdm I have or the glocks and haven't had any case dents.

A dent where? Near the mouth or closer too the head?

Not even acci-dent-al? Gangsta has been ahead of the curve for years just like over griping a handguard for the right handers.

To be honest, on my 2009 XDm in 9mm, I get that a lot, dents at the case mouth, usually if I use American Eagle ammo from Federal, doesn’t hurt a thing since I don’t reload anymore

Got me, I have changed the recoil spring at about 2,000 rounds with a SA factory spring.

My xdm was bought in 12/28/18 just before the mags and range bag offer ran out.

No I have 9mm & 45 ACP no problems. I was thinking about the XDM OSP ELITE in 10mm for my next purchase. Hows it shoots is the accuracy good?

I'm just getting used to it but so far it's pretty tight.

I just checked some brass from my 2 month old XDM 10 and they do have small dents

I’m getting the same dents from my XDm 10mm. Has anyone reloaded these?

10mm brass comes out pretty fast therefore the dents. No problems in reloading them.
