This seems like it should be easy, but I see plenty of people that have trouble removing their screws. Hopefully this will help you from stripping out your screws. I take a bunch of these apart and this is what I do and have never stripped a screw.

Tools of the Trade
Allen key/hex Bits/Hex Driver
Torx Bit/Driver/key

Dremel Tool with cut off wheel (only if you have to "refresh" your driver

When it’s at your convenience, just thought it might be a good addition to your series, thanks in advance, I appreciate it, my XDm may need this soon, I ordered some powder river precision replacement pins awhile back.

Thanks xdman for tips and another good video!

One other important tip is to make sure screw heads are clean 1st. Gives tool better grip on screw.
Use non abrasive tool like toothpick, toothbrush, compressed air, ect to clean out screw heads before attempting to loosen or remove screws. Usually helps in fastener removal, preserve screw and tool life.

Another helpful tip is to start all fasteners in threads before completely tightening any of them because it generally creates a bit of wiggle room to help start up others and more align parts prior to completely tighting fasteners.
