I am about to purchase a striker guide my plastic one gave out. I'm looking to purchase a new one part number 27. I see people selling them for the mod 1 45 acp. But they say it won't fit the 45 mod 2. Is this for safety reasons or something because I know they are the exact same size in both mod 1 and mod. Thanks for any help
