I've had my 4" service model for a couple years and a couple thousand rounds. Never felt the need to disassemble the slide so I am no help.
I figured it out, took me a while as it's a different setup than most. There's no small spring behind the extractor. Just the long spring which leads to the extractor and fits into a groove on the extractor itself.
To each his own on cleaning but imo slides need to be broke down and all components taken apart and cleaned. Also alcohol wiped in the striker channel.

This is nothing like the XDS model 2, completely different setup.
Now that I know how it goes together I'd be happy to assist anyone out there.
Putting the extractor spring back in is tricky. If you take the spring assembly apart there's actually a roll pin INSIDE the spring which really threw me off. On top of that the roll pin has different sides to it.
