Ya get what you pay for range day

Kinda bad day shooting this mornin, now the first gun i shot was the Radical, now i went to put the pics on the computer and there were none. so no target pics. gun worked perfect through 100 rounds. binary worked perfect. problem was the cheap chinese sight i put on it. i had these from somewhere and said they are the right color. what could go wrong? So it was hitting high and i went to get my AR sight tool and what the heck is this crap.

now most of you know what it takes to move an AR front sight. they have a detent you push down and spin the post. well not this junk. it has a set screw you take out and spin the sight. so i get the allen to remove it and spin this sucker like a top. it's stripped out. plastic POS. i put a screwdriver under it and spun it to get it to come up and it stayed a little. still needed to come up cause when you pushed on it, it would go back down. lol So i went ahead and compensated for the sight and shot it best i could. i was hitting center good after i found the right spot. no proof, but here is the rifle and the awesome sight. both front and rear are in the trash now. gotta figure out what i will put on it now.

Now the second you get what you pay for is this shotgun, oh gawd, i'm fixin to hear it from @Bassbob. Now the gun itself worked fine and never jammed or malfunctioned. the two big problems is this thing has a 100 pound trigger, or least it felt that way. now i did clean it up when i got home and took trigger out and oiled it up good and it did make it a lot easier. haven't shot it after that though.

After i got the ghost sight adjusted. and figured out which choke to use it started hitting center. the other problem is recoil. OMG, now i ain't one to ever bitch about kick but this sucker is like being kicked by a mule. i was only shooting cheap sterling 23/4 buckshot. i can't imagine shooting 3 inch in it. i run about 40 rounds through it and yes i do have a bruise. lol and i don't bruise easily. the grandsons may inherit this one early.

The third you get what you pay for is this little SA dumpling, thing was hitting about 6 inches high and all over the place to begin with. so i thought maybe the barrel needs breaking in. after 50 rounds i changed targets and put it on a rest and aimed a country mile low and this what i got. Now it does have a good feel in the hand but that's about it. very crappy accuracy and trigger is decent, not bad and not good either. but for a 300 dollar gun the trigger is fine. but the barrel sucks. sights are ok but they are not even close on height. no adjustment for that. it did jam twice in about 80 rounds. all this at only 7 yards

Hi,

Ya, sure, I like my XD9 Mod.3 a whole heckofalot. I took it to a training class last week and shot 250 rounds without a malfunction. It's as accurate as I am. Wish I knew what was going on with your sights.

YGWYPF: I really noticed the difference between the cheap MBUS sights and the nicer MagPul sights I put on my FPC. I've got to stop cheaping out.

Otherwise, nice work! Thanks for sharing your fun.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
