Just read this. I always envied you guys down south who had hogs to hunt. Now, I'm not so sure if I want these brutes roaming my backyard.

I've never understood how we as humans could hunt so many animals to extinction throughout history while using primative arms but for some reason the feral hog population cannot be brought under control even with full-time open season. They really are a resilient beast!

They are a nuisance!!! ONE sow usually has 6-8 but can have up to 12 piglets TWICE a year. I’m not mathematician, but with all the wild hogs that is a lot of bacon runnin around.

Destructive, cunning and adaptive turds they are. They can tear up a football size area in a night if there are enough of them. 2-3 can dig enough holes to screw up a 1/4 acre in a night

Seems very surreal reading about them and all of the carnage they create while the only ones we see here are at a fair. Different type of course but the closest we have.
