So I've just learned that, by the end if the month, Dauntless Engineering is releasing an adapter to fit the Holosun EPS to the Zev OZ9 post-style RMR cut. This presents a quandary for me. For the longest time, I've had my eye on the Shadow Systems MR920P. But now that my homeless EPS will be able to fit on the OZ9, & because there are TONS of deals to be had on that specific gun (OZ9), I'm torn.
I've heard from those who have them that the Zevs shoot quite smoothly due to their stainless receiver & long rails that run the length of the slide. Having never shot 1 myself, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the OZ9s are like. My point of reference for a SUPER smooth shooting full-size would be the Echelon. Would those of you who've shot the OZ9 say it's as smooth as an Echelon? What're your opinions? Should I stick to my original plan & just get the Shadow Sytems MR920P, which fits my hands as though it were custom made for me, or should I go with the Zev, its stainless receiver, & the amazing modularity of that platform?
