18 years ago today is the day I should have died. An underwater explosion nearly took my life, crippled me, and to be honest, changed my life for the better. Working the offshore oil industry as a commercial diver was a tough life. Just like my time as an Infantryman in the Army & the Marine Corps, I'm proud of having been a commercial diver, but sure glad those times are behind me.

Got a little good news this morning. My wife has her 2nd round of chemo today but the infusion scheduled for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving has been moved to the following week. She enjoys cooking a large meal for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I think he just became lunch…

Heard a rushing of wings to look over and a red tailed hawk nailed a small critter about 20yrds from my stand.
